Review: Captive Heart

Captive Heart by Adriana Hunter

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Captive Heart Delivers Jungle Heat!

For the past seven years Gideon has worked alone. As a soldier for hire, he keeps his emotions behind a wall of stone and every movement he makes radiates with barely restrained intensity. Broken by his past, exhausted and alone, Gideon is ready to retire; but doesn't have any idea what he would do if he wasn't on a job.

Lainey is desperate for a miracle. Her brother was kidnapped while in South America. Turning to her ex-boyfriend, Detective Scott Navarro, is the last thing she ever wanted to do, but Lainey is willing to do anything to help bring her brother home. Scott swears that Gideon is the best in the business, and Lainey believes him... but Aiden is her responsibility and she isn't about to be left behind.

Gideon is a total mystery to Lainey, but their sexual chemistry is undeniable. Lainey's body lights a fire in Gideon like no other, but it's her tenacious spirit that keeps drawing him back like a moth to a flame.

Opposites attract in this passionate story about two broken hearts thrown together in the most unexpected of ways. Well written and edited with complex characters and a fast paced storyline, Captive Heart will leave you feeling the heat!

Caution: Unprotected sexual encounters of an adult nature, for mature readers only.
