Shifting Fates: Uncaged by Nadia Simonenko
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Uncaged turns up the heat!
This series MUST be read in order. If you haven't read Book 1, Shifting Fates, I suggest you do so before continuing this review.
Cage and Bindi have both returned to their normal routines but continue to be fascinated by thoughts of each other. As the military slowly begins to tighten the noose on both the humans and shifters who remain in containment zone the entire situation is becoming more desperate.
The plot thickens as Cage notices that things aren't quite adding up on base and silently begins to question the decisions his general is making. Several interesting developments are either introduced or hinted at, which drew me deeper into the story than ever!
After several close calls, Bindi is more determined than ever to protect and provide for her young charges but must face the reality that she may not be able to continue to do so forever. As she wrestles with the increasing military restrictions rations become harder to obtain and greater risks must be taken in order to survive.
Desperate circumstances bring Cage and Bindi back together and the chemistry between them begins to reach a boiling point!
We got to know Bindi really well in Shifting Fates and loved that we get to see more of Cage in this story! Flawlessly developed, Rose and Simonenko are an unstoppable writing duo; prepare to be blown away at the progression of this fast paced paranormal fantasy adventure! With an ending that took my breath away, the bar has once again been raise and I can hardly wait for more.
A copy of Shifting Fates: Uncaged was provided by the authors in exchange for an honest review.
