Memorial Day Scavenger Hunt: #Awesomeness #BlogTour #Giveaway

Welcome to the 2nd annual Memorial Day scavenger hunt!

The rules are simple: At each stop on the tour you’ll find a military themed picture* with a word or words. Collect the words and figure out the secret phrase (hint: it’s lyrics to a song). Once you think you have the correct phrase, enter it into the Rafflecopter at any one of the many stops.

Three winners (one for each pack listed below) will be selected from all the correct phrases.

Good Luck and Happy Hunting!
My stops word is: can't

From Unexpectedly Lucky
(Bradford Boys, Book 1)

It was the slight sheen of tears in Link's brown eyes that pushed Ryan over the edge. Reacting on pure instinct, he slowly leaned forward and pressed their lips together. At first, there was no response, then Link’s mouth softened and he pushed closer to Ryan. It was a gentle kiss, the kind usually shared between long-time lovers.

Ryan’s eyes slid closed as he licked at Link’s lips, tasting the beer they’d been drinking and an underlying flavor that was 100% pure Lincoln. Pushing his tongue past the enticing combination and into the depths of Link’s mouth felt as natural as breathing. Lifting his hand to cup the back of his best friend’s head, Ryan deepened the kiss. Their tongues intertwined, stroking, tasting and exploring. Pulling back slightly, Ryan nibbled briefly on Link’s decadently swollen lower lip, kissing the corner of his mouth, leaving a trail of warmth behind as he moved across Link’s jawline.

Ryan was well on his way towards the base of Link’s neck when a pair of hands pushed gently at his chest, breaking him out of the spell that held him captive.

“Wait… what are you doing?” Link questioned in a slightly dazed tone of voice.

“I... Link… I don’t know.” Moving back just enough for their gazes could meet, Ryan saw confusion beginning to overtake the haze of lust that had clouded Link’s eyes moments before. “It just… I mean… I couldn’t seem to…” Groaning out loud, Ryan rubbed his forehead in frustration before trying again. “It just feels… right. In a completely unexpected way.”

“We’re leaving for college tomorrow and won’t see each other until Christmas. Is this what you want… what we want?”

“I don’t know what to think. This isn’t something I planned! It’s never been this way between us. It’s like… we need the connection or something, almost as if we have to experience this together. Maybe I need it, in order to wrap my head around what it’s going to be like when you’re gone.”

“That seems like an awfully selfish reason to risk ruining a lifetime of friendship.” The words coming out of Link’s mouth said no, but his eyes, which were glued on Ryan’s moist lips, said yes

“It feels like fate, Link. At least, it does to me. Am I not reading things right? Don’t you feel the chemistry building between us that I do?”

Link slowly licked his own lips, his chocolate eyes traveling up to meet Ryan’s penetrating gaze. “I’m not so sure that I’m in any condition to be deciding what feels right and what doesn’t Ry, but I can tell you that it’s like nothing I’ve ever felt before. Maybe we should just…”

Ryan surged forward, pushing Link onto his back. Pressing their chests together, Ryan tightly grasped Link’s dark hair with both hands and pulled, stretching the tendons and fully exposing his neck before their lips crashed together once more. This was a completely different kind of kiss. Wildly passionate, it quickly escalated out of control, their teeth and tongues met in the middle, then battled for dominance. Ryan settled into the V of Link’s thighs, rocking his hips rhythmically, he pressed against Link’s prominent length with his own. A groan escaped his lips, “God… that feels amazing. How have we not done this before?”
